In a very difficult first race, starring torrential rain, Pioltello’s team driver Gabriele Mastroluca #80 was able to complete the 10 laps without making mistakes, taking the BeOn of Kuja Racing team to the top step of the podium.
In Sunday’s race, starting from the front row in second position, Gabriele kept in touch with the leaders during the first few laps. Halfway through the race, in third position, undermined by Kelso, the first two tried to stretch, but the Milanese team driver and his rival behind him managed to repair the tear and reopen the fight for the top step of the podium.
Mastroluca managed to first take second place and then get close to the leader, Surra. On the last lap Gabriele tried the sprint, but for a few seconds he was unable to overtake his opponent and cross the finish line first.
The Kuja Racing driver thus conquers the second step of the podium, thanks to which he obtains the third place in the final general classification of the 2018 season of the championship PreMoto3 250 4T, in his debut year in the CIV.
