The Circuit do Estoril was the epicenter of excitement during the 5th round of the ESBK, showcasing impressive performances from the BeOn-JuniorCup riders. From the free practices, it was clear that the key players would be Jesús Ríos #54 (MRE Talent), Casey O’Gorman #67 (Superhugo 44 Team), Facundo Llambías #94 (Aipar Team), and Iaroslav Karpushin #70 (FRANDO VHC), who all demonstrated exceptional levels.
The pole position went to Casey O’Gorman #67, with an impressive time of 1:42.8, followed by Jesús Ríos #54 in second place and Facundo Llambías #94 in third.
Race 1
In the first race, O’Gorman #67, making his debut in the category, confirmed his quality by securing the victory. Llambías #94, also making his debut, took second place, while Jesús Ríos #54, the championship leader, completed the podium in third. Although Iaroslav Karpushin #70 fought for a podium spot, positions were settled mid-race, showcasing the high level of competition.
Race 2
On Sunday, O’Gorman #67 shone again by repeating his victory with a time of 1:43.2, leading the race from start to finish. Jesús Ríos #54 secured second place, while Iaroslav Karpushin #70 claimed third place after an intense battle with Llambías #94, who finished in fourth. The battle for the podium highlighted Karpushin’s skills as a true fighter on the track.
The BeOn-JuniorCup continues to prove itself as an exciting category, with high-level riders and teams.
Moto4
The weekend at the Circuit do Estoril again demonstrated the absolute dominance of Igax Team in the Moto4 category. In the first race on Saturday, Leo Casadei #44 claimed victory, closely followed by his teammates Enzo Zaragoza #85 and Eric Ruz #89, achieving a clean sweep for the team. Igax’s colors once again painted the entire podium.
However, in Sunday’s Race 2, it was Eric Ruz #89 who took the win, climbing to the top of the podium and reaffirming the team’s strength in the competition.
Premoto3
In the Premoto3 category, the races were filled with excitement and competitiveness. In the first race, Álvaro Lucas #46 from Igax Team fought hard and achieved a notable second place after a fierce battle with Nikola Miroslav, who took the victory.
Sunday’s Race 2 saw Miroslav repeat his victory, but it was Izan Rodríguez #49 from ETG Racing who secured second place, while Álvaro Lucas #46 completed the podium in third.
